Valerio Sommella

Valerio Sommella is an Italian industrial designer, born in Cortona, Tuscany, and raised in Milan, where he graduated from the design department of the Politecnico di Milano. He spent his first working years between Milan and Amsterdam before founding Valerio Sommella Design Studio in 2009. He treats each project as a chance to test his idea of design, questioning the language of objects through formal, material and technical research.
