An Apartment Between the East and the Lake

Overlooking Lake Maggiore in Locarno, this private apartment is a true journey through Middle Eastern atmospheres and fairy-tale charm. Designer Ana Valeria Carelle selected wallpapers from the Tale Books collection — chapters "Le Mille e Una Nuits" and "Kimono" — to create a unified narrative across every room.

The bedroom features "Le Paysage" (MUN04), while the living room is wrapped in "Forêt" (MUN07). The study and yoga room showcases "Mofuku" (KMN04) from the Kimono chapter, and the guest bedroom is adorned with "Homongi" (KMN06). All rooms share a "Caramel" background colour, unifying the entire apartment.

These detailed designs, like the most exciting of stories, reveal themselves day after day in a never-ending tale. The triple layering printing technique unique to the Tale Books collection adds extraordinary depth and texture to every surface.
