MODE — Eco Mood Design Hotel

MODE Hotel opened in Rimini in a redeveloped historic building. The hotel is a permanent exhibition: each space was planned by a team of designers and design schools. LondonArt is one of the suppliers for the project curated by the School of Design and the Department of Design of the Politecnico di Milano, entitled “From Rimini to Habana: the Rimini Riviera meets Cuban tradition”.

A wallpaper made from a work by the Cuban artist Raúl Valdés González (“Raupa”), produced by LondonArt, covers the wall facing the entrance of the suite. The bedroom is papered in Rejoice (MRN13), from the MARNI Capsule Collection.

The suite is furnished with sustainability in mind, following the philosophy of reuse typical of Cuban culture. Its concept was developed during a workshop at the Politecnico di Milano's School of Design.
