SOUNDPROOF is a layered vinyl wallcovering with a closed-cell PVC foam layer. LondonArt gives it a weighted sound absorption coefficient (αw) of 0.40 and states that the wall layer absorbs 30–60% of mid frequencies between 250 and 2,000 Hz, which reduces echo in the room. LondonArt makes it for executive and open-plan offices, restaurants, gyms, swimming pools and homes, and for rooms where sound should carry cleanly: cinemas, conference halls, theatres, clubs and rooms with hi-fi systems.
